  Who is Hometown Meds?
Hometown Meds is owned and operated by licensed Canadian pharmacists. The company is based in Homewood, Manitoba, Canada, which is about a half hour drive southwest of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

What is the Hometown Meds business philosophy?
Hometown Meds was formed with the philosophy that all people should be able to receive their prescription medication from Canada at a fair price. Our pharmacists believe in providing the highest level of patient care and put quality of service at the top of their list every day.

How do I join Hometown Meds?
Simply fill in the patient profile form and fax it to us with your first prescription order form. We do require the original prescription (which you can mail in) or a fax from your (the patient's) doctor's office. You can fax us your prescription directly but it must be confirmed by fax or verbal prescription from your doctor's office. We can confirm the prescription with your doctor for you.

Is Hometown Meds licensed?
Yes, our License number is #32836, a Canadian Pharmacy regulated by the Manitoba Pharmaceutical Association. Hometown Meds employs licensed pharmacists who, just as they would at a traditional storefront pharmacy, ensure the validity of all prescriptions and supervise patient care.

How can I contact Hometown Meds?
Call us Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Central Standard Time at 1-877-696-6300. Or if you prefer, email us at helpdesk@hometownmeds.com or visit our website at www.hometownmeds.com.

Do you require a prescription to access Hometown Meds?
You must have a valid prescription from your doctor to order your medicine from Hometown Meds.

Why are your prescription prices so low?
The first reason is currency conversion, and the second reason is the Canadian government limits how much pharmaceutical manufacturers can charge for brand-name drugs when they are approved and caps subsequent price increases.

Does Hometown Meds only sell approved medicines?
We operate within the Canadian system. Some drugs have different brand names and all medications ARE APPROVED by the Canadian Health Protection Branch which is Canada's official government regulatory body that deals with medication approval. Generic medications are the same as brand names but tend to be much cheaper.

How long will it take for me to receive my prescriptions by mail?
Patients usually receive their prescriptions within 2 weeks of being confirmed by the pharmacy. However, you should allow up to 4 weeks for delivery in case of mail delays.
